Who We Are

Blazonfire is the brainchild of Paul and Lauren Durban, a couple you would totally want to hang out with if you were lucky enough to live in Lincoln, Nebraska.

After 20 years working in marketing, design and video, Paul has seen just about everything the industry has to throw at someone. A former college professor, Paul is an obsessive researcher. He spends an unreasonable amount of his free time learning the newest tools and technologies to come down the pike. If it can be done to an Ebook or web video, Paul knows how to do it. And that’s exactly why you want him on your team.

Lauren handles much of the writing and editing and also assists with voice-over work for Blazonfire clients. You'll know your ideas are in good hands as she uses her valuable experience as a former television news anchor to skillfully support your efforts to craft a memorable message that will drive your audience to take action.

Our Service

At Blazonfire, service is king (and as Mel Brooks put it, It’s good to be the king). You’re here because you take your ideas seriously, and so do we. The goal is to create information products that will spread your message in the way you want it to be heard, received, and understood… and in order to do that, we want to know you. That’s why you’ll always get completely personalized attention, prompt (and we mean prompt) responses to your emails, and open, honest answers about our process and our progress.

Once you’re working with us, we want you to feel totally in the know and connected to the progress of your project. We realize it can be scary to trust someone with your message, and so we invite you to check up on us at any time. It's your baby; we're just providing a new outfit.

Of course, our relationship isn’t over once we complete your project (it’s too hard to say goodbye – we’d miss you!). Above all, we are not happy until you are happy. Our mission is to make sure you are satisfied that we have captured the soul of your message and protected its integrity.

You've invested in your ideas, and that’s why they deserve the best we have to offer. At Blazonfire, your message will be treated with the utmost respect.

Goin' Green

Admit it: you make a lot of trash.

We all do. At home, at work, and on the go, we're consuming. Creating waste. Wrappers, memos, boxes, packaging, bottles, and bags... oh my!

But there's good news. Recently we've started to wake up to the fact that we live on a planet with finite resources. More and more, we're doing what we can to be good stewards of this big, beautiful world that we call home. That's why when we set out to create Blazonfire, an important part of our mission was to craft a business that would not only produce as little waste as possible, but would help other people make their businesses greener too.

Here's what we figured out: sometimes, it is easy being green. Forgive us for saying it, but maybe Kermit was wrong – having to spend each day the color of the leaves really isn't so hard after all. With the proliferation of reliable, high-speed internet access in all corners of the globe, reaching your customers in a completely paper-less fashion isn't just acceptable, it's usually preferable. With products like ebooks, short videos, and podcasts, you can reach your audience right now. Your message becomes portable and convenient, accessible wherever there's a computer (and let's be honest-- these days, that's pretty much everywhere). Plus, your costs are minimized by taking printing, shipping, and waiting out of the equation entirely.

As good as all that sounds, we decided that having a neutral impact on the planet just wasn't good enough. We want Blazonfire and its clients to have a positive impact on the planet. That's why every time we complete a project, we make a donation to the Arbor Day Foundation so they can plant a tree. Just think – somewhere, a little tree will grow up strong, healthy and loved, all because of you. Doesn't that make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside? Anyone up for joining hands and singing Kumbaya?

When you do business with Blazonfire, you can rest assured that you're doing something good, not only for you and your audience, but for the planet as well. We think that's a pretty darn convenient truth. (Plus, puns are carbon-neutral!)

Our Fees

As you can probably imagine, every project we receive is unique. Some Ebooks are 50 pages, others are only 10. Some videos last 30 seconds while others are a few minutes long. Some projects are graphics heavy while others are... blah blah blah. You get the idea.

As a result, the fee for each project is dependent on its complexity. We invite you to send us an email or complete our web form and tell us about your ideas. We'd be happy to provide you with a quick and accurate quote.
